A parked vehicle’s dashcam caught the aftermath of a stabbing during a home invasion in Texas yesterday morning.
Six suspects broke into a home in Richmond, TX, around 8:30 AM Tuesday. A 51-year-old man and his wife were home at the time. The intruders stabbed the husband with a butcher knife and then pointed guns at their child’s head.
It is unclear what happened next, but it is being reported that the suspect fled, and the wife followed them while firing shots.
You can watch as the suspects flee in the video here and hear at least nine shots from the woman’s firearm. It is unclear if she had a handgun or rifle.
While there aren’t many details to go on other than what is seen in the dashcam footage, I have to say that you should never fire at a fleeing suspect. There were no reports of the suspects being hit. A neighbor heard the shots, grabbed his son, and got into a closet. Another neighbor had a bullet strike his garage.
