AB-7771 adds not only a mental health exam but also numerous other hoops to jump through before purchasing a firearm. Such as applying for a hunting license if you buy a shotgun or rifle. What if you don’t want one for that purpose? As Dan Wos says, this just seems like a way to make it so that obtaining a firearm legally is extremely hard, making it harder for law-abiding citizens to defend themselves.
