A suspect got more than a set of keys when he attempted to rob a car dealership last month. And the whole incident was caught on surveillance footage.
On March 21, 2022, two men pulled up to a Houston, TX, car dealership around 5:15 PM. One of the men got out of the car, walked up to an employee, and asked to test drive a car.
The suspect followed the employee into the office. As soon as he enters the office, he pulls up his shirt and draws a handgun. We can assume that he was going to attempt to steal one of the cars. But he didn’t get a set of keys. He got a gun drawn on him by the employee.
The suspect quickly realizes he got more than he bargained for, smiles, and walks out of the office. Once outside, he high tails it off of the lot. His accomplice, who was still in the car, drove off. Police are still searching for both suspects. Props to this employee for quickly realizing this was a robbery and being prepared to defend himself.
