LIVERMORE, CA – A man thought he would successfully rob a store arming himself with a hammer. Unfortunately for him, it was a gun store.
Around 2:30 PM this past Sunday, a man entered East Bay Firearms in Livermore, CA wearing a mask, a hooded sweatshirt and gloves. The owner of the store noticed that he was acting suspiciously after he entered the store.
Armed with a hammer, the suspect attempted to steal a handgun. That’s when the store owner shot the suspect twice in self-defense. When the police and paramedics arrives, they administered critical aid but the man was pronounced dead on the scene.
What was this guy thinking? I guess he had never heard the saying, “Don’t bring a hammer to a gun fight!”
