Armed Citizens 2 – Criminals 0 After Two Self-Defense Shootings in Phoenix, AZ

In two separate incidents in Phoenix this past Saturday, two citizens came out on top after using their firearms in self-defense.

In the first shooting, which took place in central Phoenix near 12th Street and Highland Avenue, a man was approached by 24-year-old Aaron Duwan Frazier Jr. with a gun and attempted to rob him. The man was able to retrieve his own firearm and shot Frazier, who later died at the hospital. The man who shot Frazier called the police to report the incident, and after conducting interviews and collecting evidence, the man was not arrested. The case remains under review for possible charges.

In the second shooting, which took place in west Phoenix near 44th and Whitton avenues, a man attempted to enter a home where a woman was inside. The woman called a family member to come help, who confronted the victim in front of the residence. A verbal altercation ensued, during which the victim made threats to kill the family member and raised what was believed to be a gun. The family member shot the victim in self-defense and was not booked into jail, as the case remains under review. Evidence was collected, and the investigation continues.

These incidents serve as a reminder of the importance of the right to bear arms and the ability to protect oneself and others in dangerous situations. It is important to note that in both of these cases, the individuals involved were interviewed by the police and were not booked into jail.
