Intruder Disguised As Nurse Shot and Killed By Woman’s Son Who Rushed Home

A criminal thought he was clever by wearing a disguise to gain entry to a home. But he wasn’t as clever as he thought, and he definitely won’t be trying that again.

Around 12:30 AM this morning, a Houston, TX woman heard a knock on her door. When she checked to see who it was, she found a man dressed in scrubs attempting to pose as a nurse or a home health worker. He used the disguise in an attempt to talk the woman into letting him into her home. But she wasn’t buying it. That’s when the man started to forcibly break into the home.

The woman called her son for help, who wasn’t far from the home. He found that the intruder had broken into the door when he arrived. That is when he fired and killed the intruder.

The police reported that this seems to be a total random incident.

Good for this woman not to fall for the disgust and call her son for help. And thankfully, the son was close enough to get there in time before something worse happened. We’ve covered answering the door for strangers in the article below.
