BEACH PARK, ILLINOIS – On Thursday, October 6, 2022, Tino Roane was shot and killed when he allegedly pulled a knife out during an argument with a resident of the home, according to police.

Around 12:40 am police responded to the 38100 block of North Loyola Avenue to the report of a person who had been shot. Deputies were notified that it was a 24-year-old man who had shot Roane in self-defense after an altercation.

The man was waiting at the property for the police to arrive. It was determined by the police that the man resided at the home. Roane was deceased inside the residence when the police arrived on the scene.
