Woman Shoots Boyfriend in the Face After Being Assaulted

Woman Shoots Boyfriend in the Face After Being Assaulted

A 43-year-old was being assaulted by her boyfriend, but luckily she was able to get to a gun and stop the attack.

A 36-year-old man was assaulting his girlfriend, who lived with him last week. At some point, the woman was able to arm herself with a gun and shot the attacking boyfriend. She fired at least five times.

Reports seem to suggest that the woman called the police to report the shooting. When police arrived on the scene, they found the man with a wound to the head, who later died on the scene. The girlfriend also had visible bruises on her face from the attack.

It’s a good thing this woman was able to get to a gun to defend herself. Disparity of force came into play here. She was being overpowered by the man attacking her but having a gun gave her the opportunity to stop the threat before he could continue to beat her.
