Went to shoot their range yesterday for the first time, and had a great shoot plenty of space in each lane well ventilated and cool Targets on rail systems so you can easily adjust distance in c-shot placement. Very grateful to have this opportunity nearbyPosted on Google
Rebecca Brown16 July 2026My son and I both have military experience. Scott met us where our abilities are and taught us new skills. He was professional at all times and helped us to feel comfortable. We highly recommend this company!Posted on Google

Jason Hill21 February 2026Well developed course with personalized instruction. The intro to pistols course improved both mine and my son’s accuracy. The range was great, safety was never a concern and we got plenty of time on the range.Posted on Google

Sage20 September 2025Finally a quality local pistol range! I signed up for a membership and I’m very glad I did. The people there are great guys and very knowledgeable. The facility is more than adequate with an automatic target retrieval system that allows me to make the most of my time spent. I’ll be a regular patron and I recommend you come out to support these guys too. I would like to see them so busy they are forced to expand.Posted on Google
Robin Hoffman16 September 2025I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to do so because of how deeply appreciative of the G4 family I am. Scott and his team are providing an invaluable service to the community through their education on responsible gun ownership and use, as well as firearm sales and training facilities. I recently took a CCW course from Scott. It provided me, and even seasoned gun owners, with not only fundamentals and legal background but also lots of practical skills and examples. Scott takes safety very seriously and it shows at range time and in the classroom. I personally really enjoyed and feel grateful for Scott’s sharing of his personal experiences and thoughts on a wide variety of topics. The course is top-notch. Additionally, their indoor range is easy to get to, easy to book, and very safe. Garrett, the range master there, is friendly, knows his stuff, and takes safety very seriously. I’ve taken a shooting lesson from him and learned a lot. Angie at the store has also been very helpful every time I’ve been in. This is a great place and I feel blessed to have such knowledge in our community. Keep up the great work G4!!Posted on Google
Mike Boehm29 August 2025Awesome and knowledgeable staff. Took the time to help me with an issue. I will go backPosted on Google
Christine Roshitsh24 July 2025Scott’s knowledge, skill and patience makes him a great instructor. I hadn’t fired a handgun in 34 years and was a little nervous about shooting again. After one lesson, my confidence came back and I’m now looking forward to another course.Posted on Google
Kim Badenhop21 July 2025Great people!! Extremely knowledgeable! Bary Pfaff1 June 2025Private CCW renewal class and it couldn't have been better. On top of the typical requirements, Scott spent time with me working on trigger control and ran some drills to increase skills. Happy he has the range available for my future practice and training requirements. I need to spend some more time at the store to learn all they have to offer, but they definitely get my business!Posted on Google
Gabe Meza12 May 2025Top tier, world class service. I called G4 looking to inquire about scopes and Scott was super helpful. Installed a scope on my rifle in a pinch because I had plans to go shooting with a buddy the next day, and I couldn't be more grateful. Amazing service, great prices, and a friendly shop dog has won my loyalty. Thanks G4 and thank you Scott!Posted on Google
Jonathan “Tax Cowboy” Weintraub2 May 2025As former military, I do not enjoy shooting. I know how to shoot and thought that was enough. Recent events forced my wife to need some protection and I do not know how to convey my firearms knowledge to her. Luckily Scott reached out my wife and I and offered to help. From a person who has been to many firearms classes, Scott clearly knows the rules and runs a safe range. He is extremely knowledgeable and has a high skill level. That all being said, none of it matters unless he can convey his knowledge and experience to the person who needs it, my wife. What ever I write will be a disservice to Scott. I have been attempting to get my wife proficient with firearms for the last few decades. In one session, my wife was comfortable, confident, and proficient with several guns. He was able to achieve what I couldn’t within several hours. My wife and I may be good together but it is best to have a real expert teaching shooting, as I found out today. I was the third wheel, but he made it fun for everyone. The best part is that this was actually the first range day I’ve enjoyed since joining the Army, and it wasn’t even about me. Walking away from today’s session, I am happy knowing my wife is more comfortable around firearms, and our family’s safety doesn’t have to revolve purely around me. There is now a much better peace of mind thanks to Scott. Thank you!!Posted on Google

Hana Pryden18 February 2025Scott is a great teacher! As a first timer I felt stupid not getting it right the first time but he never made me feel bad and I appreciate that. I learned quick and feel confident. Excited to get my ccw.Posted on Google

Went yesterday around 3 pm and place was closed. It had a sign saying they are temporary closed and moving to new location. They did have a phone number on the door to call if you needed to pick up a firearm. Not sure if they are closed all day but wasn't open Tuesday.Posted on Google
Casey T26 April 2024Nice locally owned gun shop! The owner has a lot of knowledge in the industry, and is very helpful with answering any questions you might have that are gun related.Posted on Google
Stefanie Grecousis24 April 2024Took my firearms training course today. It was a very educational course. I walked away feeling comfortable with my weapon and confident in my safety. Thank you G4 Firearms.Posted on Google

Andrew Hammond12 December 2023Fantastic firearm shop with a wide variety of new and used firearms. However, the true value in G4 is in the quality of the classes and training that's available. I promise that you'll learn more than you expected to, regardless of your previous level of firearms experience. Scott and the entire staff are a wealth of knowledge.Posted on Google
Mike Perlas9 November 2023I signed up for a private lesson with Scott and it was great! I am a new shooter and have primarily done self taught with "YouTube" training. Scott immediately identified that. We worked on safety, grip, breathing, and entry level drills. Fundamentals! He was able to help me identify where I'm making errors. I did not expect such an improvement after such a short time. If you are someone who owns a firearm but have not had formal training - PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO IT! It is worth the investment.Posted on Google
Scott Stratford18 October 2023I was fortunate enough to happen upon G4 Firearms for my CCW training course. Scott was an absolutely amazing instructor. Scott was extremely professional and the safety he demands is second to none. He has a great sense of humor but demands excellence from all of his students. Scott doesn’t just give you your CCW, he trains you how to shoot and you have to work for it. This is a good thing. We need more instructors like him as obtaining one’s CCW is a serious endeavor. I highly recommend G4 Firearms for training, service, ammo and beyond. I am grateful to Scott and his team and feel as though I am a new G4 “family” member. Thank you, Scott Stratford.Posted on Google
Mark Schwartz12 October 2023Friendly staff and quick transaction. I called ahead to make sure they had 9mm in stock. I have been to two other stores in the past months to buy ammunition and G4 is the first store where I didn't have to wait 40mins+ just to buy ammo. Nice selection, clean and quiet. I will be back any time I need shooting supplies. Thank you.Posted on Google
Master Yoda16 June 2023I finally met Scott today and I was impressed. What a friendly guy and extremely knowledgeable. I'm now a 70 year old retired law enforcement officer after 4 decades of service with full carry rights in 34 states, because of carry permits from CA, Utah, Arizona and Florida. I'm a LIFE NRA member and belonged to an assortment of gun clubs around the area for decades. So when I say Scott is an impressive firearms guy, I mean it because I've seen many of the best in the industry! He put new sights on my Kimber Ultra Cop .45 while I waited that same day. Even cleaned the gun and sighted it in perfectly. We had a great chat about a lot of things. His sister Angelina is a great lady as well. I joined the G4 Law Enforcement membership club today (he has several civilian G4 club memberships too) and I'm looking forward to shooting at his private indoor range further up the road from his very modern and nicely stocked shop. I watched several females come in while I was there and he was very welcoming and polite to all of them, just as he was to an old timer like me. If you've ever had a bad experience with someone behind a gun shop counter, you will be in for a real treat when you interact with Scott!Posted on Google
Austin Owens13 March 2023Took my CCW class with Scott. He was very helpful answering any questions the class had. He is a no BS instructor. If you want to skate by go somewhere else. If you want to actually train, get instruction on how to properly shoot and engage, get your lessons through him. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else in Sonoma County. Hands down best firearms experience I’ve had.Posted on Google
Melanie Johnson7 February 2023I took my grandma here after dealing with many gun dealers myself and this was the right place to go. Angie was great answering all our questions and made us all feel comfortable. Thank you for helping me keep my grandma safe!Posted on Google
Saul Garcia29 December 2022I was looking up shooting ranges and was glad to find G4 indoor range. Booking was super simple, the staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave a safety review checked out our gear and let us at it after they cleared the range. Highly recommend it! Great premium indoor range !Posted on Google

Sarah Suchla20 January 2022Angie is great!! Not only is she super knowledgeable, but she is hilarious! My girlfriends and I went in for our first firearms and had a seamless time. We stayed way after the paperwork was done just laughing together. I can't wait to do the classes they offer (alot of them!) I will be purchasing more from G4!Posted on Google
Brad Brown24 November 2021Small store, and didn’t have a super wide selection of the ammo that I was looking for (3.5” x12ga steel), but the woman who helped me was very friendly and we shared an appreciation of California’s bogus gun laws.Posted on Google
